MANNING, SC (WOLO) — In the next race we are focusing on, incumbent Fawn Pedalino represents Clarendon and parts of Sumter Counties in House District 64.
This November, she faces a 25-year-old challenger, Democrat Quadri Bell.
Republican Pedalino won the House District 64 seat in 2022 by beating incumbent Kimberly Johnson.
She says she has worked on economic development in the area and hopes to continue to do so for another term.
Pedalino also wants to focus on improving education in both Clarendon and Sumter Counties and believes she has done a good job so far representing her district.
Her challenger is 25 year old Quadri Bell. The USC graduate beat Arthur Moyd in the Democratic primary.
Bell believes that one of the biggest issues facing the district is the need to improve infrastructure.
The Manning High School alum says there is a lot of potential in the next generation. He promises that if elected, he will focus on local schools.
