Youngstown Symphony Orchestra plays holiday show featuring WKBN's Jim Loboy

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — The sound of music filled the air at the DeYor Performing Arts Center in Youngstown on Saturday night.

The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra performed its “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” concert for hundreds. Many different popular Christmas songs were played to entertain the community.

The show included a special appearance from WKBN meteorologist Jim Loboy reading the famous “A Visit from St. Nicholas,” also known as “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.”

“It has a feeling of home and family, and of course, everybody in Youngstown loves the home and the family aspect. So, it’s a great way for us to show our gratitude and appreciation during the holiday season,” said artistic services manager Kelly Sullivan.

The performance was led by guest conductor Edward Leonard.
