In June, we proudly celebrated the 10th anniversary of .xyz’s launch—a milestone that reflects a decade of empowering internet users with versatile domain options. Since its inception, .xyz has played a key role in shaping the digital landscape, offering a forward-thinking choice for innovators worldwide. Today, XYZ Registry manages over 5 million domains and .xyz represents approximately over 1% of all domains in existence, ranking among the top three new generic top-level domain (gTLD) registries and responsible for ~5-7% of all new domains created daily.
June was a standout month, with nearly half a million .xyz domains registered. Innovative individuals and organizations—ranging from tech startups and Fortune 500 companies to creatives, educators, small businesses, and community groups—continue to leverage .xyz domains as a platform for bringing their ideas to life and establishing a strong online presence.
