WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Friday was opening night for a long-running Warren Halloween tradition.
The annual Ghost Walk is taking place again for the 36th time.
Ten minutes before the Ghost Walk started, 70 people had already gathered outside of First Presbyterian Church, which was the first of seven stops along Mahoning Avenue.
This year’s theme was the Packard Family.
At stop one, the group was greeted by Stephanie Young, who was portraying Alaska Packard Davidson, who would become the first female FBI agent.
The money raised benefits the Trumbull County Historical Society and Fine Arts Council.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring such a big, iconic name in Warren to Ghost Walk and really explore some of the spooky, scary stories behind the Packard family,” said Meghan Reed, with the Trumbull County Historical Society.
The Ghost Walk will continue Saturday, then next Friday and Saturday as well. It starts at 6:30 p.m., and the tours leave every 15 minutes until 9 p.m. Tours take an hour. The cost is $10.
