Village Flea and Safe Halloween event coming to the Kern County Museum

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Museum is set to host Village Flea market on Oct. 6 and a Safe Halloween event for children later this month.

Village Flea is Central California’s largest antique show and sale. On Sunday, over 50 vendors will be selling vintage furniture, artwork, collector’s items, household décor and selected craft items.

The museum’s 60 exhibit buildings will be open, including the new Bakersfield Sound building, Owtsan House Native American Gallery and the Watson Transportation Exhibit. Tickets are $5. Children 12 and under get in free, you can get your tickets at the door.

Later in the month, families can celebrate at the Safe Halloween event at Pioneer Village Oct. 30 and 31st, from 5 to 9 p.m.
