ArmInfo. The US and several Western countries are trying to involve themselves into the process
of negotiating a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
However, all the rough work was done in Moscow, said Yuri Ushakov,
the Russian presidential aide.
"As is known, the US and several Western countries are trying to involve themselves into the process
of negotiating a peace treaty. We believe that all the rough work was
done in Moscow," Ushakov said, commenting on the normalization of
relations between Baku and Yerevan, as reported by RIA Novosti. The
Russian presidential aide pointed out that the Westerners "want to
interfere in the negotiation process and thereby meddle in regional
affairs with their actions." It is worth noting that official Yerevan
has refused to hold negotiations with Baku with Russia's mediation
for the second consecutive year.
