Orangeburg, SC (WOLO) — This week the U.S. Army’s Columbia recruiting battalion is responding to areas impacted by hurricane Helene.
The military organization partnered with the Orangeburg Municipal Airport to supply food, bottled water, diapers, hygiene products and more necessities need in the Spruce Pine community of North Carolina.
Over 40 boxes of food and a significant amount of water are ready for delivery, scheduled for Saturday.
