Mac’s Patio and Mary’s Ice Cream Parlor won’t return to the midway for the 2024 Kern County Fair.
Fair officials cited failure to pay past concession fees as the reason for the closure. In its place The Chicken Man — offering hot chicken sandwiches and other savory bites — will open.
Mac’s Patio and Mary’s Ice Cream Parlor was a staple for fair food lovers dating back to 1952.
