ArmInfo. Armenia will purchase Indo-French artillery gun system from India, the Economic Times
reports. According to the information, a major defense system, developed jointly by India and France, has bagged an export order from a third country, showcasing the potential of co-development and
Indian low-cost Indian manufacturing.
It is noted that India and France have developed the Trajan 155 mm
towed artillery gun system. Armenia has chosen this system for its
forces. Several subsystems of the gun have were developed in India.
According to the publication, deliveries will begin in the coming
months. Armenia is also getting Pinaka multi barrel rocket launchers
and Akash air defense systems from India.
