Newberry Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Deputies in Newberry Co. say four people are charged in for the murder of Kier Marsh and injuring another person on December 5th on Green Meadows Dr.
Two more were charged for harboring a fugitive.
According to investigators Glazariq Garcia, 20, and Matthew Neal Epps, 24, were arrested in Newberry Friday.
Deputies say Austin Stanley, 20 was arrested in Myrtle Beach and Danny Gray was arrested in Whitmire.
Investigators say they are all charged with murder, attempted murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, burglary 1st, kidnapping, and conspiracy.
According to deputies, Parrish McWatters, 34, Stephanie Heather Mayer, 28, were arrested for allowing Gray to hide in their home who was found hiding under a pile of clothes.
During the search, officials say a deputy was injured after being bitten by a pit bull and three children were found in the home.
Deputies say McWatters and Marsh are also charged with hindering law enforcement officers and unlawful neglect of a child.
Investigators say the incident on Green Meadows Dr. took place during a robbery attempt.
