Cameron Sievers scores two points for the West Central Cougars Saturday in the Cougars first round game against Payson-Seymour. As you can see from the scoreboard in the background, the Cougars started off the game giving Payson a glimmer of hope. Payson took a 10-0 lead and West Central didn’t score for the first four minutes of the game. Here, with 5:39 left in the second quarter, the Cougars are behind 20-8, but at the end of the third they would only be down by two with the score 30-32 with Payson leading. With just seconds left, West Central hit a three-pointer to win the game 44-41 and advance to the second round.
