A company is fraudulently claiming they are working with Harrisburg Magazine to sell plaques. We are NOT calling you to sell you plaques (magazine ads, yes but not plaques). We have sent out emails with the information on how to purchase the plaques, but the links will ALWAYS go to our website and only our website. That link is https://harrisburgmagazine.com/simply-the-best-promotions/ They have even mentioned our employees names.
The only way to purchase a plaque with the logo is from our site. Our salespeople will not take these orders over the phone. We are far too busy working on the gala and our September magazine issue to call anyone about plaques. Nor have we hired anyone either.
These companies are located overseas and are part of bigger “vanity award scams.” As soon as the issue is online, they start targeting customers. We apologize for the confusion.
