QEM Fire Protection District will be climbing 2,200 stairs again this year on Wednesday, Sept. 11, to remember and honor the firefighters who died during the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
This is the second year QEM has climbed the 110 stories of stairs to remember the 343 firefighters, and they have invited more first responders to join them this year.
QEM will also be hosting their annual Fish Fry on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
