Putin: Russia expects leaders and military crews of CSTO countries at parade on May 9, 2025

ArmInfo. Russian President Vladimir Putin met in the Kremlin with the heads of parliaments from CSTO member countries (CSTO).  As reported by the press service of the CSTO PA, Putin emphasized that Russia is open to cooperation and is committed to strengthening the organization and increasing its role in ensuring peace and stability.

"I would also like to note that cooperation within the CSTO is based on the principles of alliance, military brotherhood, and mutual assistance," the Russian president emphasized.  According to him, the CSTO member states are actively working to preserve historical truth and memory.  The Russian president expects that CSTO legislators will help in countering the imposition of destructive ideological attitudes.

"I expect that the legislators of our countries will also contribute to solving such an urgent task as countering the spread of false information and the imposition of destructive ideological attitudes from outside," he noted. Putin added that Russia  is looking forward to welcoming  the leaders and military crews of the CSTO countries at the parade on May 9, 2025. Let us recall that today, December 9, a joint meeting of the CSTO PA Council and the seventeenth plenary session of the Assembly took place.  Armenia did not participate in the event.
