Christmas family night at the Spring Creek Firehouse, Saturday

Christmas Wonderland is all in season and Spring Creek Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary is hosting the first annual Christmas Family Night at the Spring Creek Fire Station. Doors open at 5 p.m. movie will begin at 6 p.m. Movie for this year will be Polar Express. Several crafts and game activities will be available. Food and drinks will be available. This event is a Free-Will Donation event. This is sure to be a fun filled night for the whole family!
Pleasant Hill Jr. High and High School Christmas Concert will be held in the high school gym at 7 p.m.
Also this coming Thursday, the 12th, the grade school will be hosting a family fun night in the elementary library. Come and join from 5 p.m.-7p.m. Santa will be reading stories, a movie, some hot chocolate and sugar cookies, and a Christmas craft. Come awhile or just drop in to say hello.
The Donut Hole in Nebo has unfortunately closed their business as of this past weekend.
Let us not forget these are hard times for many, and if you stop by a retail store, etc you may find an angel tree full of wants or needs for someone less fortunate or possibly if know someone in your community you know in troubled times can send anonymous donations or gifts. Need knows no season but this is season of giving!! Your Heart will be so glad you did!
Remember the Lesters Christmas Celebration will be held at First Baptist Church in town tonight at 6:30 p.m. This is freewill offering for the Lesters. For information please call 734-2145.
Deepest sympathy is extended to the family of Cecil Long, such a kind ol’ man, he and his wife Pat, ran the Gambles store for many years.
