BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County cooling trend is set to continue continue.
The high for Wednesday, Sept. 11 in Bakersfield reached 89°, below the average of 94°.
Expect temperatures even cooler for Thursday in the upper 80s, along with breezy conditions in our mountains and desert locations. A wind advisory will remain in effect until Thursday morning at 11 a.m. A brief warming trend will take place this weekend, with temperatures ranging in the low 90s.
Another drop of low pressure will push temperatures even cooler for the beginning of next week, with 70s in the forecast. We haven’t experienced temperatures in the 70s since May of this year.
Air quality will be moderate.
