ArmInfo.Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan does not respond to Ilham Aliyev's aggressive attacks in order not to allow Armenia to be drawn into provocations, into the bosom of someone else's strategy. In an interview with the First Public Channel, Pashinyan stated that there are external forces that aim to generate a new escalation in the region.
"We do not respond because we see provocations and consider it important to follow our peaceful agenda, and therefore we are not going to get nervous. A cold approach is needed here," Pashinyan said. "Our strategy is as follows – to prevent escalation, and to respond to everything in such a way as to exclude escalation, war, its legitimacy, or better to say, its justice, and to do everything possible to prevent the ground from being prepared for this," the prime minister explained. He expressed the opinion that 2024 has been the calmest year for Armenia in the last 15-20 years precisely due to this strategy.
