ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Ouachita Baptist Tigers beat the Henderson State Reddies 27-20 in the 97th annual Battle of the Ravine Saturday at Carpenter-Haygood Stadium.
In a tense battle, the Reddies mounted a final drive that ended with a turnover on downs, allowing the Tigers to take a knee and secure the victory.

The win gives the Tigers a 47-44-6 lead in the series and brings them to 10-1 for the season. It also helped them clinch the Great American Conference championship and gave coach Todd Knight his 162nd win, tying him with Buddy Benson as the winningest coach in program history.
During the radio broadcast, Henderson State announcers said that the game had been featured Saturday morning on ESPN’s College Gameday due to its legendary status as one of the longest rivalries in college football.
