YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The 2025 Organ concert series begins Friday night in Youngstown.
Powerful sounds of an organ will fill St. Columba Cathedral starting at 6:30 p.m. The concerts are free and open to the public. Each will include a reception after the concert.
The first concert of the year will feature a split between standard organ music and contemporary music.
“Especially in an area like Youngstown that is starving for the arts, we really need to emphasize the fact that we have a lot going on for us and we need to encourage people to come and listen,” said organist Ralph Holtzhauser,
Ralph Holtzhauser is one of two organists being featured.
An offering at the concert will go to support cathedral music programs.
The next concert in the organ series will be February 21.
