One arrested after bank robbery in Kingston

KINGSTON — One person has been arrested after a bank robbery Friday afternoon in Kingston.

According to Kingston Police Chief Richard Kotchik, officers were called to M&T Bank, 800 Wyoming Avenue, around 2:30 p.m. for a reported bank robbery. The suspect reportedly passed the teller a note saying they had a gun and demanded money.

With assistance for the Pennsylvania State Police, Kingston Police arrested the suspect.

The identity of the suspect is still unknown, and it is unknown how the suspect was apprehended, or how much money they stole.
