SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Power has been restored in the area of 2100 South State Street.
The outage was caused by wildlife entering an electrical transformer box in the area, officials said.

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Over 4,800 customers are without power due to an outage in South Salt Lake, according to Rocky Mountain Power.
Several traffic lights are reportedly out along State Street in the impacted area. This includes the lights at 2100 South State Street.

Drivers are asked to treat these intersections as four-way stops.
“Approach the intersections slowly, be ready to stop quickly, and don’t let tempers flare if someone goes before you,” Salt Lake City Police posted on social media.
Multiple outages are reportedly occurring in the area. An estimated time of power restoration has not been released.
