COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Columbia Police say 23-year-old Ja’quivian Kennerly has been arrested after warrants was issued for his arrest.
Kennerly is facing several charges, including murder after police say he shot and killed 40-year-old Antoinette Michelle Hammonds-Colon last week, Thursday morning, Nov. 14, outside a Harbison Bojangles.
He is being charged with with murder, two counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle.
Investigators say he turned himself in on Wednesday morning, Nov. 20 to CPD investigators.
He is accused of shooting at a vehicle multiple times in the parking lot at Bojangles while in an attempt to physically harm two passengers.
During the shooting Antoinette Hammonds-Colon was hit in the upper body area and later died at a local hospital.

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–Columbia Police have issued arrest warrants in connection with the shooting death of a woman outside the Bojangles on Harbison.
Police say 23-year-old Ja’quivian Kennerly is facing several charges, including murder.
Police say Kennerly shot 40-year-old Antoinette Michelle Hammonds-Colon Thursday morning around 10am, outside the Bojangles.
Authorities say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
