New closure dates have been confirmed for a busy motorway junction in order to install a new safety barrier.
Junction 1 of the M20, also known as the Swanley Interchange, was set to shut last month for safety improvements.

But the works, which would have seen more than 350 metres of upgraded central reservation safety barrier installed over a weekend, were called off due to Storm Darragh.
New dates have now been confirmed for the works between the slip roads, which will now take place between 10pm on Friday, January 17 and 5.30am on Monday January 20.
It’s hoped when complete the improvements will keep the road safe for motorists and require less maintenance in the future.
National Highways says it’s necessary to close the road section for safety reasons as there will be times when there won’t be a barrier separating both sections of carriageway.
They say they will be working continually over a 56-hour period to upgrade the barrier in a single weekend, thus avoiding longer-term disruption.
We carefully plan all our work to keep disruption to a minimum
Amelia Yeodal, National Highways programme development manager, said: “Our work here will improve safety for those using this section of the M20.
“We carefully plan all our work to keep disruption to a minimum.”
A short diversion route for London and coastbound traffic will be in place via the M20 at junction 1.
For A20 coast-bound traffic exit at M20 junction 1 and use the northern section of the Swanley Interchange and the M20 entry slip road to continue.
If travelling on the M20 London-bound exit at junction 1 and use the southern section of the interchange and the A20 entry slip road to continue.
Slip roads between the M20 and M25 and the B2173 London Road will remain open over the weekend.
This includes the free-flowing link roads which directly connect the M20 and M25 to the east of the Swanley Interchange.
