The annual Lighting of Concord is set for Friday, Dec. 6 with fun and entertainment for the whole family. The event starts at 5 p.m. with food, festivities, pony and train rides and shopping at the Christmas bazaar in the Strickland Building.
“Come be a part of the spirit of Christmas at the Lighting of Concord,” said Anita Neath.
“There will be musical entertainment beginning at 5:30 p.m., including the Pike County Elementary School chorus and the Soggy Broccoli Boys. Santa will be arriving, hopefully by helicopter, at 6:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you all here to celebrate the Christmas season!”
Santa’s photographer will be available to take pictures for visitors or bring a camera to take a photo with St. Nick himself.
