[This Day] Ghanaians have voted out the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the December 7, 2024, presidential election. The party’s candidate, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has conceded defeat to former President John Dramani Mahama of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
