KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Kershaw County deputies say a man was taken to a hospital after shooting himself.
On Thursday, Oct. 24, around 4:30 p.m. the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a man had shot himself in the 1000 block of Highway 1 North in Cassatt.
When KCSO deputies arrived to the scene, everyone at the home told them a man inside shot himself after forcing his way into the home to attempt to harm someone inside.
Law enforcement says everyone involved in the incident including the man, all knew each other.
EMS took the man to a hospital and he is currently in stable condition.
The investigation is still ongoing.
