KAYSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — An individual with outstanding warrants has caused a neighborhood in Kaysville to shelter in place as police negotiate with the person.
According to Kaysville Police, police were called to the vicinity of Lincolnshire and Crestmont Way to investigate a domestic violence case where it was discovered that the suspect was preventing family members from leaving the residence and had outstanding warrants.

Police say it was determined that the suspect was refusing to leave the home and was in violation of an active protective order.
Kaysville Police responded to the location in an attempt to make contact with the suspect, all efforts to this point have been unsuccessful. Kaysville Police have requested assistance from the South Davis Metro SWAT Team.
The family has been safely removed from the home. Efforts to contact the suspect are still ongoing.
