ICRC provided financial support to 96 households in Kirants village

ArmInfo. In November, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) provided financial support to 96 households in the village of Kirants in the Tavush region of Armenia. Each household received AMD 130,000.

As reported by the ICRC press service, this amount is meant to help cover heating and transportation costs during the winter.

It should be noted that after the so-called border delimitation between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the residents of Kirants have faced difficult social conditions. Some of their lands and residential buildings were transferred to Azerbaijan, in violation of Armenia's laws.
