ArmInfo. The press service of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, when asked whether the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Armenia was invited to the inauguration of the elected US President Donald Trump, stated that it promptly informs about any visit of the head of government.
This is how the press secretary of the Prime Minister Nazeli Baghdasaryan responded to the corresponding question of Sputnik Armenia.
To the remark that there are only two days left until the inauguration, Baghdasaryan replied: "I have said everything, I have nothing to add."
Meanwhile, on January 18, the newspaper "Hraparak" reported that the head of the Armenian government was not invited to the ceremony. < Meanwhile, a large number of heads of state will be present at Trump's inauguration. If the Armenian-American relations are really so brilliant, then why wasn't Nikol Pashinyan invited? This, by the way, indicates the poor work of the RA Ambassador to the United States.
And the State Duma (the ruling party of Armenia – ed.) is very pleased with the work of Lilit Makunts and even sets her as an example to other ambassadors>, – the publication writes.
Recall that the elected US President Donald Trump will officially take office on January 20.
