Former Turkish Cypriot community leader in Cyprus, Mustafa Akinci, in hospital

The former leader of the Turkish Cypriot community in Cyprus, Mustafa Akinci, has been hospitalized after a fainting at a hotel in Famagusta.

According to local media, Akinci was rushed to the hospital by ambulance.

The first tests did not show anything alarming about his health; however, doctors have kept him in hospital for observation.

Akıncı was the leader of the Turkish Cypriot community from April 2015 until October 2020.
