Firefighters were battling a blaze Thursday morning at a building in Chicago Lawn on the Southwest Side.
The fire began sometime before 6 a.m. in the 2900 block of West 63rd Street, Chicago Fire Department officials posted on X, formally known as Twitter.

CTA rerouted 63rd Street buses as firefighters worked to put out the blaze.
It wasn’t immediately known if there were any injuries.
