COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — Cyclists in Columbia say that it is not the most bike friendly city.
However, a new project in Soda City aims to fix that.
The area is much safer thanks to the River Drive Bike Lane. The city of Columbia along with SC DOT and other partners celebrates its completion Thursday morning.
Mayor Daniel Rickenmann says the plan to make Columbia safer for cyclists and pedestrians has been in the works for years, but is now finally happening.
