The surging Oklahoma City Thunder took down the reigning NBA champion Boston Celtics in Sunday’s potential NBA Finals preview, 105-92.
The C’s led by 13 points late in the first half, but the Thunder erased that deficit with stifling defense throughout the final two quarters. They limited the Celtics to just 15 third-quarter points and held them to 9-for-46 shooting (19.6 percent) from 3-point range. Meanwhile, superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropped a game-high 33 points to help secure OKC’s 15th straight win.
