Long time Hawaii resident King of Cookies, creator of the “Famous Amos” cookie brand, Hollywood talent agent, entrepreneur, and television personality himself.
He took his last breath at his home in Makiki on August 13, 2024, due to complications of pneumonia.
Those who just called him a friend or family, partook in a celebration of life ceremony in his honor.

The event was held at the Unity Church of Hawaii at Diamond Head.
A short eulogy service with friends and Hawaii dignitaries sharing short stories, followed by kazoo playing, musical entertainment, and refreshments in the courtyard.
Wally’s band is also said to make an appearance.
While it started at 1 p.m., in traditional Uncle Wally-style, there is no end time.
