Brayden Schager named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week

University of Hawaii quarterback Brayden Schager was named the Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Schager ran for four touchdowns in Saturday’s 34-13 win over Nevada, tying Glenn Freitas (1995) and Ivin Jasper (1993) for most rushing scores in a game by a UH quarterback.

Schager ran for 120 yards on 19 carries, becoming the first Hawaii quarterback to surpass 100 since Chevan Cordeiro did so in the 2020 season.

Hawaii (3-5) resumes conference play at Fresno State on Saturday at 1 p.m. HST. The game is available for purchase on Spectrum Sports pay-per-view.
