Calling all thespians! Auditions are coming! Good Shepherd Humane Society and the Cause for Paws Players announce auditions for the Tony Award-winning play, “And Miss Reardon Drinks a Little,” by Paul Zindel.
The play will be performed March 27-29 at the Theater above the Grotto in Eureka Springs.
Auditions will be held downstairs at the Auditorium at 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, and Monday, Feb. 3. There will be an informational meeting at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, at Harold’s Diner on White Street. Anyone interested in participating at any level — acting, stage crew, costuming, sets, house management and promotion — is welcome. Acting roles are as follows: four females ages 3550, one female age 50-70, one male age 17-25, and one male age 35-50 Auditions will be cold reading from the play.
All net proceeds from this production will benefit Good Shepherd Humane Society’s “Fido Fixer” program that provides spay, neuter and vaccination services to rural communities in Arkansas.
