Officials with the Energy Information Administration said the demand for fuel decreased. Crude oil is also down 7% compared to this time last year, officials said.
“Stable crude oil prices and the autumn seasonal demand decrease have led to lower prices at the pump,” AAA spokesperson Nick Chabarria said. “Even better news for Arkansas drivers, they are paying one of the cheapest gas prices averages in the country.”
Figures show that drivers in Arkansas are paying the 5th lowest gas price average in the country. The national gas price average is $3.11.
