SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Have an old family heirloom and curious about its worth? Or maybe you found an old doll in your attic and want its story? Then good news: The Antiques Roadshow is making a stop in Salt Lake City where you could get these old items appraised.
PBS’ most-watched ongoing series will be heading out for its 30th-anniversary tour in 2025 where it is set to film in five cities across the United States.
The Antiques Roadshow is scheduled to stop in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, June 3. The exact “distinctive and historic” venue will be announced in the coming weeks.
Ticketed guests for the Antiques Roadshow are invited to bring in two items where they can get free verbal evaluations and appraisals from the nation’s leading auction houses and independent dealers. The items could be antiques, art, or collectibles.
How to attend the Antiques Roadshow in Salt Lake City
Admission to the Antiques Roadshow is free but does require tickets – which must be obtained in advance.
In anticipation of the demand to attend, fans can enter for a chance to win one pair of free tickets per household in a sweepstakes contest that opens on Monday, Jan. 13, and closes on Monday, March 24. To enter and see the complete list of entry rules, visit pbs.org/roadshowtickets.
A small number of free tickets will also be given away through Instagram. Social media entries will be open beginning Jan. 13 and will remain open until Thursday, Feb. 13.
Winners of the sweepstakes will be notified by Monday, April 7, while those who enter through social media will be notified by Tuesday, March 12. Winners will receive an email three weeks before the Salt Lake City Antiques Roadshow with their tickets.
