RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Firefighters controlled a fire that spread quickly through parts of a recycling center in Lower Richland, said the fire department.
According to Columbia-Richland Fire Department, fire crews arrived at the center on Air Base Road on Tuesday afternoon to find a trailer fully involved along with a debris pile.
Firefighters established a water supply and were able to get the fire under control and extinguish the about a half acre in size fire.
No one was injured, and the cause of the fire was determined to be accidental.
