Karen Tumanyan appointed as the SJC acting head  

ArmInfo. Karen Tumanyan has been appointed as the acting chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, as reported on the official website of the RA Judicial 
Department.

Tumanyan joined the SJC as a member in February of this year.

Earlier, today, at the <request> of Nikol Pashinyan, Minister 
of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan, heads 
of the State Revenue Committee Rustam Badasyan and the Investigative 
Committee Argishti Kyaramyan, Minister of Internal Affairs Vahe 
Ghazaryan and heads of the Investigative Committee resigned. Karen 
Andreasyan, the head of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) and Sasun 
Khachatryan, the chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee of 
Armenia, also stepped down from their positions.

In a statement on his Facebook page, Nikol Pashinyan explained that 
he had requested several high-ranking officials to resign. <The 
reasons for making such a request are not personal, but systemic, as 
I have publicly spoken about >, Nikol Pashinyan wrote.
