RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia-Richland Fire Department responded to, and extinguished a Friday evening fire, said firefighters.
The department said shortly after 5:30 p.m. firefighters responded to a Crestview Drive home fire.
They were able to go into the home and bring the fire which started in the kitchen area but quickly spread into the attic under control.
Firefighters said the fire caused turbulent smoke to fill the home.
Three people who made it out of the home safely are displaced.
